Fight Announcement: Bailey Sugden V David Mejia

FIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Bailey Sugden takes on the Spanish-Columbian David Mejia, the x2 ISKA and Kombat League Champion on the 9th July at the Indigo O2 in London.

Bailey the youngest of 3 sons on his professional debut won a 4 Man K1 rules tournament at 17 years of age. And then went on to compete in The Road To Glory 8 Man Tournament and subsequently won a 2 fight deal on Glory Kickboxing. At 19 he made his Glory Debut with an emphatic win at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York against the experienced Arthur SorSor. That was followed by a unanimous win infront of 15,000 Dutch fans at The Ahoy Arena in Rotterdam against the current ONE Championship Number 3 ranked fighter Chenglong Zhang.

Bailey was then offered a long term Glory deal which saw him rack up more fights on Glory than any other Uk fighter and include fights all over the World inc Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Houston, Utrecht. His last fight saw him return to Chicago on Glory72 and a aw him stop the durable John Morehouse in the very first round. Something no other glory fighter had been able to do before. In the UK at 19 years of age Bailey is really excited to prove his is still the man to beat as he still holds that ranking at 23 years of age.

Nicknamed BADBOY and known in the states and Holland as The British Bulldog, Baileys fighting style has been very well received and gained him lots of fans. Now he wants to fight and show why he is The number 1 UK fighter.
