ROAD TO ONE Championship Tournament, the UK’s first ever!

At last we can finally reveal the 8 fighters who will be taking part in the UK’s first ever Road To One Championship the tournament.

We were hoping to have all 8 athletes on our huge August 6th show at Bolton Arena, however due to various injuries this won’t be the case. Fear not we have come up with a solution!

The first round will be fought as two separate 4 men completions with the first taking place on our August card featuring our current MTGP World Champion, Irishman CRAIG COAKLEY who will be taking on the hungry and dangerous Swedish man KIM FALK. Coakley fresh from a big win against Panicos and having shared the ring with legends such as Singdam and Rafi will have his eyes firmly on the final. Whilst his opponent Falk comes with an incredible KO/Stoppage ratio, holding KO wins over current WBC world champion Nathan Bendon and the skilled Shane Farquharson.

On the opposite side we see South End Combat Academy’s NATTY DODDS taking on 2 Technical owner and head coach PAUL KARPOWICZ. Will Paul’s slightly unorthodox style put of the traditional Thai Style of Natty? Or will the Thai purist prevail in the 4oz gloves?!

The Second 4 man will take place on @wajshafique‘s big October MTGP card where you will get to see some serious talent in action!

The rematch from Yokkao a few years back, NATHAN BENDON takes on JACK KENNEDY. With Nathan taking the first fight on short notice & having a very strong first couple of rounds, Jack weathered the storm to pick up the win. Under this rule set 3×3’s in the MMA gloves this is anyone’s fight!

And our final two fighters we see the long awaited return to the Thai Boxing scene for GEORGE MOUZAKITIS (Greece) who will be taking on Scotland’s BRIAN TOTTY. Both guys have a wealth of experience and great technicians of the game, with George’s move to MMA in the last few years he will no doubt be feeling confident in the smaller gloves but can he put wit and out skill the tough and durable experienced Scotsman?
